Our postdoc colleagues at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine have been fighting for over a year for a fair contract, but the administration is still refusing to commit to basic rights and protections in a union contract.
Their administration has delayed bargaining repeatedly and regressed on terms even after reaching agreements with the Union. Einstein’s behavior has allowed postdoc conditions to fall below the standards unionized researchers have won at Columbia, Sinai, and now Weill Cornell. A fair contract at Einstein can only strengthen our position to fight for improvements at our own workplace and across New York City.
To send a clear message to Einstein that their delays must end, Einstein postdocs are rallying at their campus on Wednesday, December 3 at 1:00 pm. Please join other NYC researchers and community members to call on Einstein to agree to a contract postdocs deserve—RSVP here!
