Sign our Open Letter calling on Sinai to reach a fair contract in a timely manner
Since winning our union election, we have elected a bargaining committee, collected input through bargaining surveys from a majority of researchers, and ratified a set of initial goals for negotiations. After reaching out to Sinai in August, we had our first bargaining session on October 1st. Due to scheduling issues, Sinai cancelled our second session. Our elected bargaining committee proposed more bargaining dates and locations to the Sinai administration last week but we have not yet received a response.
To avoid further delays, we are circulating an Open Letter to the Mount Sinai administration urging them to bargain intensively to reach a fair agreement in a timely manner. The more of us who add our names to the open letter, the more strongly we can convey this message.
