Voting on our initial bargaining goals ended earlier this week, and the goals have been ratified overwhelmingly. Here are the results:

Instructors voted to ratify the goals with 100% support (49 yes to 0 no)

Scientists voted to ratify the goals with 98.4% support (62 yes to 1 no).
This result builds on our union election results, in which we voted by more than 90% to form our union, and gives us a strong mandate to negotiate for needed improvements to our working conditions at Sinai.
The goals were developed based on bargaining surveys filled out by a strong majority of senior researchers, as well as from town halls and in-person discussions. We are very excited to develop more specific proposals that address each of these goals in detail in preparation for negotiations with the Sinai administration. Thank you to everyone who participated in the vote.
