The Trump Administration has proposed devastating cuts to NIH funding, threatening life-saving research and the jobs of tens of thousands of research workers. Right now, we have a critical window in which to act! Senators Warren, Padilla, and Tillis as well as Representatives Ocasio-Cortez and Carson have begun circulating sign-on letters in Congress to support federal research funding.
On Tuesday, May 13 at 3pm ET, academic workers nationwide will be phonebanking to urge lawmakers, especially in red districts, to sign on. RSVP here to join. (Form may not be accessible on some WiFi networks.)
